Entertaining with Style
This is an introductory short course to familiarize participants to the theory and practical experience in the Art of Entertaining in Style during the Christmas season. Participants will learn and experience the art of preparing and de-boning turkey for easy carving; decorate the traditional ham for attractive presentation. It will also introduce the participants in how to prepare hors d’oeuvres and canapes from simple every day food items.
It will also give participants the experience in setting up the dinner area in a creative plus exotic manner which is in line for the Christmas period.
This course will also seek to familiarize participants with the theory and practical exercise in the creation of exotic local drinks using various fruits , herbs and vegetables that are in season before and during the Christmas season.
This courses teaches various styles and tricks which can be employed when preparing meals.
This course covers a range of pies and pastries, yeast products, custards and fillings for pies and more.
